Guitar

Eduardo is passionate about communicating this exciting music to all levels and ages, and is therefore available to teach flamenco guitar at both secondary education and also further education level. As an extra-curricular activity at schools for all ages, or as an evening class at an adult education centre, the flamenco guitar offers a genuinely rewarding, fun and exciting alternative to the standard classes/courses offered in classical, pop or rock styles.

Schools

Eduardo normally travels to the schools premises where classes are held. Classes normally last for half an hour to an hour. Younger students will normally be in groups, and older students in either groups or 1-1.

Further education

Numbers in a class will normally will be between about 6 or 7 people. Classes will last for about an hour or hour and a half, and run for the duration of a standard term.

Objectives:
Introduction to exciting flamenco rhythms (compás), forms (toques), and techniques. Some basic accompaniment to cante (song) and/or baile (dance).
